Julia Uriarte

Julia Uriarte, J.D., is a 2024 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, awaiting admission of the New York State Bar. Julia will be a full-time associate attorney at Tyre & DeThomas, P.C., upon admission to the New York State Bar and she currently assists firm counsel on a range of family law matters, including matrimonial and family law, wills trusts and estate planning and estate probate matters. She received her bachelor’s degree in history from Fordham University in 2017. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, having recently graduated with their Class of 2024. Julia has worked in the public interest sphere since her undergraduate experience at Fordham University, where she interned for the New York State Division of Human Rights. During law school, she participated in the Environmental Law Journal, International Human Rights Clinic, and interned at the Office of the Attorney General in both their Civil Rights Bureau and Law Enforcement Misconduct Investigative Office. Julia narrowed her focus to family law during her time at Fordham Law when she interned at Tyre & DeThomas, P.C. in her second and third years. She is currently awaiting admission to the New York Bar.
